Locate your PNR
Find the 6-character (sometimes 5–7) record on your reservation PDF or confirmation email. It must match exactly what the airline expects—including spelling of passenger names.

Common questions about checking PNRs and using official airline portals
Copy the PNR from your reservation PDF or email. Open the airline’s official “Manage booking” or “My
trips” page using the link in our hub above, then enter the PNR (and last name or other fields the
airline asks for). The itinerary you see should match the document we issued.
The PNR is usually shown near the top of your itinerary PDF and in your confirmation message. It is
typically six alphanumeric characters. Use that exact code—together with passenger names as printed
on the document—when the airline site requests booking details.
Double-check spelling: last names and given names must match the ticketed passenger exactly. Try the
airline’s alternate lookup options (record locator vs. e-ticket number). Some carriers temporarily
limit online retrieval, or require a specific regional site. If it still fails,

Validity depends on airline rules and how far away travel is. Many records stay visible for a short
window online, while others remain longer. For embassy appointments, request your documents close to
your submission date and verify as close as practical to your interview.
